I downloaded this application right before my wife began having contractions and it worked great. It kept accurate count of how long the contractions were, as well as how many she had. Easy to use.

Unlike one I had to pay for, this one worked in the background. Worked great!
Did the job for timing contractions for our 2nd. See no reason to pay for a "better" app, when in the middle of labor I cant see stopping to take notes -- having one simple button and everything on one screen is the way to go. Only feature Id suggest is adding a simple stopwatch at the top in small font that shows the elapsed time since the start of the last contraction. Just to have a way to anticipate when the next one may be coming. Thanks for providing this simple app for free!
Downloaded this coincidentally the day I went into labor (early). Didnt know what labor felt like! Had pain, then timed the next one... And the next one... This timer worked great (but wish I could erase mistakes, like the double taps -1 second labor? I dont think so!) for when I realized I should call the doctor, and for questions she asked. Easy to use, and free.
Awesome app. Took all the guess work out of timing duration and frequency. I was able to call the doctor and arrive at the hospital at the right time with the data from this app.
Used it 3 times (on false alarms, 2 weeks and 1 week before actual labor) it helped me avoid going to the hospital before it was time. When I finally went I got there with a 5 dialation. That was perfect! The only thing Id change is the edit button which is somewhat hidden (took a long time to find) and maybe add an option to ignore mistakes ( like 2sec ones). Otherwise, thanks a lot!!
I used it for my wifes labor yesterday and worked great! Some of the features are hidden under the edit button. Thanks!
Itd be nice to be able to stop the timer so it doesnt run in the background using up battery when its not needed without having to reset contractions.
Just used the app before the birth of our third daughter and it worked like a charm. I have a couple of suggestions. 1) Change the color of the Start/Stop button when a contraction is in progress. 2) Require that the button is pushed for 1 second before it registers the click. Its easy to clock it accidentally when you focus on the labor.
That is all.
Worked great. Used it last night. Came in very handy. Thanks! My new daughter appreciates the help
Its all you need. Using it right now!
This app really saved my behind when I was not prepared for my second child. My wife started contracting and before her nxt contraction it was installed and running. Basic & simple with no frills, just EXACTLY what I needed. You can easily charge form this and it would be worth it.
I like the idea of this app & simplicity, but crashes when pressing the about button or the view contractions button. Not helpful. Fix these bugs!
Easy to use and read I used it to figure out when to goto the hospital. It was so much easier then using a timer.
I only used the timer and did not try any of the other settings. It worked great. The running average was nice and the interface is simple and easy to use. I wont be needing this again for a while. Lol. I liked a couple of suggestions I saw on here such as changing the start stop button color during a contraction making it easy to see at a glance if it started. The other one I like was the idea of making a one second button push to avoid accidentally starting and stopping. This app works great without these changes. I greatly appreciate the time and effort in making this available.
Much easier than a stopwatch. No learning curve. Doesnt seen to time from beginning to beginning, which is what our hospital wanted. Thanks!
My wife and I really appreciated this app. The timer app is nice and straight forward, allowing me to focus on her. You can delete erroneous contraction information. Also, one of the top reviews is not accurate. The app reports contractions from beginning to beginning. I also really liked the 20 minute and 60 minute averages. It allows you to see whether contractions are quickening and / or lengthening. Really useful!
Used this last nite. Easy to use. Allowed me to concentrate on my wife instead of having to remember or write down times. Made laboring a little bit easier and less stressful.
Gave us great data and accuracy when timing contractions, which was critical during a high-stress process (first-time parents). The nurses loved it, and our doula also used it at certain stages. Possible improvements: deleting past contractions other than last (for fat-finger episodes), and a graph with best-fit line (for us statistics dorks). Really though, top-notch.
